A delegation from Griffith Asia Institute traveled to Indonesia from 20-23 August 2019 to participate in the Dialogue on Deepening Regional Cooperation on Sustainable Development and Climate Change – Future Collaboration. 

This Dialogue is part of a wider Collaborative Australia-Indonesia Program on Sustainable Development and Climate Change led by Griffith University in partnership with the Australia-Indonesia Institute, the Office of the Indonesian President’s Special Envoy for Climate Change and the University of Indonesia’s Institute of Sustainable Earth and Resources. 

The formal Dialogue was held the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Jakarta and included multiple additional events including meetings with the President’s Special Envoy for Climate Change from Indonesia, a Sustainable Fiber and Fashion Fashion Show, a visit to the University of Indonesia and a field trip to Makassar with a visit to Universitas Hasanuddin.
