Griffith Library provides a variety of safe and inclusive study spaces across all our six campuses. Whether you’re looking for a silent, quiet, or social space—we’ve got you covered. You can check out our libraries from the comfort of your couch with our  google 360 virtual tours

Silent or quiet study

Each campus library has a quiet study space, which can help you to stay focused while you study or enjoy the peacefulness and take a break. Look for signage to show designated quiet study spaces or speak to staff for directions. When using these areas be mindful of others to help keep our quiet study areas silent for everyone to use.

 Social study

Our social study spaces are a great place to get together with your classmates. Whether you’re working on a group assignment or preparing for an exam with a study mate, the Library offers a range of seating options, including sofas, booths and desks.

 Study rooms

Need something a little more private? Each campus library has study spaces that you can book for group work. Book a study room online via the Study spaces webpage. Here’s how:

From the Library homepage, use the About the library menu and select Study spaces.

 Assistive Technology rooms

Library Assistive Technology rooms are available for students with disability. Contact Disability Services to find out more information about facilities available at your campus Library.

 A safe place for everyone.

The Library is a designated Safe Place for LGBTI staff and students. You can learn more by viewing the online module Walking in rainbow shoes.
