Griffith researchers are conducting world-class research, driven to better understand our world and improve people’s lives. Each month, Library Connect profiles one of these remarkable people, highlighting their latest projects and sharing their advice for new researchers.

So far this year, we’ve spoken to Dr Hassan Karampour about his passion for promoting sustainable development in the energy and construction industry, and Dr Maria Halili about her work combatting antibiotic resistance in bacteria. Dr Camila Shirota and Kelsey Chapman let us know about the important work they are doing to improve the lives of people with disability.

We explored green buildings and sustainable housing with Dr Stefen MacAskill, and learned about the work Dr Popi Sotiriadou is conducting as a researcher and high-performance sports consultant. Most recently, Dr Adele Pavlidis talked with us about her journey into academia and her past and current projects exploring feminism, gender and sport.
