HDR Careers Week is from 18 to 22 October. This year’s program is packed full of sessions to assist candidates in exploring and preparing for the variety of careers that stem from an HDR qualification.
Whether you’re early candidature and gathering information to inform your professional development plans or close to graduating and preparing for what’s next, this year’s program has something for everyone!
All other early career researchers are also more than welcome to attend the sessions.
The program highlights include:
- Keynote sessions: external engagement, inside academic life, decoding research for industry and managing psychological wellbeing with your career.
- Spotlight on teaching and learning: managing sessional teaching work, designing engaging lectures and tutorials, and navigating the learning and teaching academic journey in grad school.
- Skills development sessions: developing winning résumés, preparing for job interviews, networking confidently and booking a consultation with your HDR careers advisor.
- Online career planning resources: PostAc and HDR Employability Guides.
