Library guides
Library guides are resource repositories created by our librarians to help you find subject specific information. You can find specialised and subject specific library databases, as well as links to relevant resources such as theses, websites, newspapers, statistics, legislation, government reports and images.
Library Databases
Library databases can be used if you’re looking for specialised information or want to do a more focused search. You can find databases relevant to your topic area in the Library guides. Each database will look different: use our Online Search Tips and the database search help function for assistance with searching.
Online Tools
The Library has tools to connect you to content the Library subscribes to. These tools are helpful if you research on the web or want to browse journals on your phone or tablet.
Give these tools a try:
- LibKey Nomad—a browser extension that provides direct links to full text of articles
- Google Scholar—a search engine used to access full text articles; follow the link for instructions on how to set up FullText@Griffith links
- Browzine—an app to browse journals, read and download articles, and get alerts when new content is published.
