As you navigate the dynamic landscape of university life, you’re likely to encounter a myriad of challenges, both academic and personal. From deadlines and exams to social pressures and personal responsibilities, the stressors can sometimes feel overwhelming. However, amidst the hustle and bustle, it’s essential to remember one fundamental principle: stress is no excuse for disrespectful behaviour.

Your wellbeing is important as we want you to succeed in your studies and there are a range of services and resources available to you that will help you throughout your journey.  If you see behaviour that is not acceptable, and you think it’s safe to do something about it, you can also act to call out bad behaviour.   Learn more about what action you can take by participating in the MATE Bystander program.

At Griffith we are committed to a safe, inclusive and respectful campus community.  Our libraries are the central hub of student activity on campus and everyone has a right to feel welcome and safe.
