We all know that starting university for the first time—or returning to your studies after some time away—can be a bit scary at first. The Library is here to help you prepare for your university studies and provide a productive and safe space for you to work.

Visit our Student orientation webpage where you can:

  • register for Earlybird workshops to gain an introduction to study skills, starting assignments, referencing and other topics
  • take a virtual Library tour, access campus maps and view Library opening hours
  • get your technology sorted before Week 1
  • and much more!

There’s a lot of information for you to take in during your first weeks at Griffith! The only thing you really need to remember is that our Library staff are here to support you. Whether it’s searching for resources, writing assignments, referencing properly, troubleshooting computer and equipment issues or you just need to see a friendly face—we’re here to help.

A good place to find an overview of the resources, services, study tools and other support that we offer is our Library services for students webpage. You can easily access this information by clicking the Students tile on the Library homepage:

If you’re on campus, feel free to come see us in person to answer your queries or you can contact us by phone, email, chat or via the Get help from the library form.
