The Library would like to wish everybody a joyous and safe holiday period!

Our campus Library services will be closed from Thursday 24 December 2020 to Sunday 3 January 2021.

We will reopen on Monday 4 January 2021. See our Opening Hours web page for more information.

While we are closed, you can access our Digital Library resources. These resources can be accessed online 24/7 from wherever you are.

  • Library catalogue

Search the catalogue for journal articles, databases, ebooks, video content and more. If you need help searching the catalogue, see our Library Catalogue Help web page.

  • Library databases

Get direct access to your favourite database off-campus by searching for its title in the Library catalogue. You can also browse our alphabetical list.

  • LibKey Nomad

If you use the Chrome Browser, you can install the LibKey Nomad browser extension to link you to full text articles.

  • Google Scholar

You can set up Google Scholar to access full text articles available via Griffith Library. Full Text@Griffith links appear next to a result when it is available on a Library database.

  • BrowZine

BrowZine allows you to access the full text of articles and view the Table of Contents for supported publishers in a consistent interface, which means you can keep up to date with the latest publications in your favourite journals. You can also look up and browse journals by subject area, download articles and export references to citation managers.

Can’t access Digital Library resources?

  • Refresh your cache

Cached information may prevent you from seeing the most up-to-date version of a webpage. If you’re having issues accessing a web page, clear your browser history and refresh your cache.

  • Connect to VPN on your computer

Some Griffith applications or resources have additional security requirements and can only be accessed by computers on the University network. If you’re off campus, you can securely access these resources through a VPN (virtual private network). See the Virtual Private Network for Griffith webpage for more information.

  • Ebook help

Griffith provides access to a large range of ebooks from a number of providers, each with their own unique set up. See our Ebook Printing and Downloading Help web page for detailed self-help.

You can find more self-help resources on studying, exam prep, referencing and more on the Library web page.

Happy holidays and we will see you all in 2021!
