The Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Professional and Support Staff Service are an opportunity for the University to recognise and honour outstanding performance by individuals and teams. These awards recognise and acknowledge individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond their usual duties to provide exceptional service on behalf of the University.
This year, we are pleased to announce that the Library’s Academic Engagement Services Team (AES) has been Highly Commended in the category of Excellence in Enhancing Teaching.
AES encompasses the Library’s Learning and Teaching support and Researcher support teams. They possess specialist knowledge in subject areas such as Science, Education, Business, Arts, Law and Health and provide research and study support to undergraduate students, academic staff and researchers. Just a few of the services that AES provide are our Earlybird workshops, Referencing Guides and one-on-one consultations for a variety of study, research and teaching enquiries.
Whether they are working hard behind the scenes or engaging with Griffith’s students, staff or researchers, AES have demonstrated their commitment to exceptional service and have truly embodied the Library’s motto: Here to help.
