Academic integrity matters: modules and resources

Academic integrity is all about being honest in your learning and taking pride in producing work that’s genuinely your own. Developing these skills not only helps you succeed at university but also builds habits that will benefit you throughout your career.

To help you get started, the Library offers two academic integrity modules:

Mandatory module: introduction to academic integrity
This required module for commencing students takes around 15 minutes to complete and introduces the fundamentals of academic integrity and your responsibilities as a student.

Extended academic integrity tutorial
This optional 45-minute tutorial explores academic misconduct, how to avoid it and what happens when a breach occurs.

The Library provides a range of resources to support your commitment to academic integrity in your studies, including  Library workshops, Referencing guides and Skills for academic success and integrity. Additional support is also available to help you learn more about using Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI), with a focus on ethical and responsible practices in academic work and assessments.
