PASS is back to help students build confidence this trimester
The Learning and Study Skills Hub (LSSH) is again offering Peer‑Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) this trimester, providing a structured and effective way to support your learning.
What is PASS?
PASS consists of weekly, one‑hour group study sessions led by trained Student Leaders who have previously succeeded in the course. Rather than revisiting lecture material, sessions focus on helping students work through challenging concepts, develop effective study strategies, and prepare for assessments through collaborative learning.
Where is PASS available?
PASS is offered in selected courses across all academic groups. A full list of participating courses is available on the Learning and Study Skills Hub webpage, with session times and locations for specific courses listed in the relevant Learning@Griffith course sites.
Why should you attend?
PASS complements course teaching by providing a supportive environment where you can actively engage with content and build effective study habits early in the trimester.
Students who participate often gain:
- greater confidence with course material
- improved study and revision strategies
- opportunities to test and consolidate their understanding
- stronger connections with peers in their course.
Regularly attending PASS can help you stay on track and make the most of the support available to you. If you have any questions about PASS or other support options, please contact the Library.
