Registrations for ResBaz Queensland 2026 are now open! 

Celebrating its 10th year and hosted at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), 23-25 June, this three-day festival of digital research training, brings together researchers from all disciplines to learn new skills in an interactive, collaborative and fun setting. 

Featuring workshops, talks, networking and plenty of social activities, ResBaz Queensland provides participatory training spanning nearly 50 different topics of cutting-edge digital research tools and techniques. 

Who should attend 

  • researchers at all levels and from all disciplines 
  • PhD candidates, research masters students and early career researchers 
  • professional staff including data analysts, research technologists and software engineers supporting research. 

Sessions at this year’s ResBaz will offer practical introductions to a broad selection of topics and tools related to digital research practice relevant across the disciplines. From text and qualitative analysis to data visualisation, high-performance computing, coding, machine learning and AI, there’s something for everyone. 

Tickets are $60 and include three days of workshops, plus lunch and morning and afternoon tea each day.

Cost of living support 

The organisers don’t want cost to be a barrier to your attendance at ResBaz. Free registration is available for volunteers and a limited number of free registrations for anyone experiencing financial hardship.
