HDR Skills Month is back!

HDR Skills Month returns this June with a month‑long program of sessions to support you at every stage of your research journey. Whether you’re settling into candidature, refining your research direction or preparing to submit, this program is designed to support you. Across the month, sessions delivered by the Griffith Graduate Research School (GGRS) and the Library provide practical support at key points, from day‑to‑day research practice to longer‑term planning. 

Program highlights 

If you’re an HDR candidate who wants to… 

• understand how your research experience translates beyond academia: Translating HDR skills for the job market 
• access assistive technologies and services that support your HDR candidature: Technologies and services for HDR candidates with a disability 
• hear honest reflections from later-stage and recently graduated HDRs: What I wish I knew earlier (panel session) 
• use AI confidently, ethically and in line with HDR expectations: Guidance on the appropriate use of AI in Higher Degree Research 
• connect with peers through skills‑focused networking: Connecting through skills networking event (in-person with a catered lunch)
