Read EBSCO ebooks offline with Thorium Reader

Need to read an EBSCO ebook offline? You can now download EBSCO ebooks using the new Thorium Reader for offline reading. Thorium Reader includes accessible reading features such as adjustable display settings, text-to-speech functionality, annotations and bookmarking. 

How to download ebooks to Thorium Reader 

In EBSCOhost 

  1. Choose the Download option and select the Full eBook tab

  2. Sign in to or create a MyEBSCO account. Do not use your Griffith password when creating an account.

  3. If you are a first-time user, install Thorium Reader. Continuing users can skip to step 4.  
  4. Choose your borrowing period and file type. 
  5. Open the downloaded ebook in Thorium Reader and enter the passphrase to open the ebook. Continuing users may not need to enter another passphrase, but can generate a new one if needed.
