Vinyl has arrived at the Con!

From Beethoven to Bowie to Bluey, a brand-new LP collection is waiting for you at the Queensland Conservatorium Library. 

Along with the collection comes the perfect listening space—the Collaborative Audio Lab. It’s a bookable room where you can play a full album, read the liner notes and soak in that unique vinyl sound. The room seats four and includes a turntable, CD player and Bluetooth-enabled stereo system. Headphones are available from the library desk. 

Find the LPs in the Library catalogue by searching for your favourite artist or browse the shelves to discover a hidden gem. 

First-year music students have been seen making a beeline to the LP collection this trimester. Last week, Fleetwood Mac was on high rotation… will Elvis Presley be next?
