Find support with the Learning and Study Skills Hub
Looking for a study boost this trimester? The Learning and Study Skills Hub (LSSH) offers peer-led support and guidance to help you build your skills and confidence. If you’ve attended Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) or chatted with a Study Skill Peer (SSP) at the library, you’ve already met some of our friendly LSSH Student Leaders. To make the most of their support, here’s where and when you can find them throughout the trimester.
Study Skills Peers
Study Skills Peers are experienced students who can assist with writing, finding resources, referencing and developing effective study strategies. They offer drop-in sessions in Weeks 2 to 11 at the Gold Coast, Nathan and Logan libraries, as well as email support. Visit the Study Skills Peers webpage for session times and more information.
PASS
PASS sessions help you develop study skills, deepen your understanding of course content and connect with other students. These sessions are run in selected courses by trained PASS Leaders who have previously completed the course. Check your course site for PASS details, or explore PASS information for your discipline:
University study can feel challenging at times, so if you’re feeling overwhelmed or need some guidance, make sure you access the support available through the LSSH.
