All the peer support your students need—now in one easy place
The Learning and Study Skills Hub (LSSH) brings together Griffith’s peer‑led study support programs in one central location and is now up and running for Trimester 1. It provides an easy referral point for staff and a clear entry point for students seeking academic support.
What support is available?
Study Skills Peers (SSP)
Study Skills Peers are high‑achieving students who support students to improve academic writing and develop effective study skills. They offer drop‑in sessions from Weeks 2 to 11, Monday to Thursday (10am to 3pm), at the Gold Coast, Nathan and Logan libraries. They can also be contacted via email.
Peer‑Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)
PASS sessions are facilitated by trained peer Student Leaders and focus on course engagement, study strategies and assignment preparation. PASS is available for selected courses across each academic group. Check out the ‘Our programs’ section of the LSSH website to view all courses with PASS, and times and locations.
Targeted Study Sessions (TSS)
Targeted Study Sessions provide cohort‑specific support and are currently focused on Education students preparing for the LANTITE literacy and numeracy exams.
Where to find more information
The Learning and Study Skills Hub webpage is the central place to find further details and to direct students seeking support with study or assessment tasks. We encourage staff to refer students early to build skills and confidence across the trimester.
