The Library is pleased to announce the publication of a new open access textbook by Dr David Tuffley, Beyond coding: The complete guide to IT soft skills!
This textbook provides a comprehensive overview of the essential soft skills required of contemporary IT professionals, including communication, teamwork, time management and problem-solving. These competencies are integral to effective practice and leadership within the IT sector. The text will be incorporated into the course 1004ICT Professional ICT Practice to support students in developing these foundational professional capabilities.
As an open educational resource, the textbook is freely available for anyone to read, adapt and share. Its publication strengthens the availability of equitable and inclusive learning materials for both the Griffith community and the broader public.
