Starting uni this trimester? The Library is here to help! Whether you’re brand new to studying, or already have some experience, we have a range of resources and services to help you succeed. Here are some of the ways the Library can help you:

Find and access resources

On the Library homepage you’ll find the Library catalogue, where you can search for journal articles, books, conference papers, streaming videos and audio, music scores and more! You can also explore our Library guides to discover key resources for your subject area.

Build your study and assignment skills

Our self-help study and assignment skills resources help you develop your study and digital skills, find information, write assignments and prepare for exams. The referencing guides will show you how to format your references correctly in the required style.

Throughout the trimester, the Library runs workshops to help you improve your skills. You can register for upcoming workshops, including:

  • Introduction to researching
  • Understanding referencing
  • Writing at university.

Academic integrity matters

All new students must complete the mandatory Introduction to Academic Integrity module by the end of their first trimester. This module will help you understand what academic integrity is and why it’s important.

Individual support

If you need help, you can contact the Library via phone, chat, email, request form or visit us on campus. We’re here to support you every step of the way!
