Are you feeling overwhelmed by exams? You’re not alone! Exams are part of uni life, but preparing for and taking exams can be stressful. It’s important that you look after your physical and mental wellbeing during exam time to reduce stress and perform at your best.

Taking care of your physical wellbeing means:

  • going to bed and waking at the same time each day, and getting 8–10 hours of sleep
  • eating well, focusing on whole foods, vegetables, protein and healthy fats

Looking after your mental wellbeing can include:

  • taking short breaks during your study sessions to clear your mind
  • celebrating your achievements and being kind to yourself when things don’t go as planned

If you’re feeling stressed about exams, you can find strategies for managing stress and anxiety in the online Managing stress and exams module. The Online Health and Wellness Centre also has a range of tips and resources to support you during exam time and beyond.
