The Logan Eco Action Festival (LEAF) takes place on Sunday 1 June 2025 at the Logan campus. LEAF is an opportunity to celebrate everything eco while exploring how we can all reduce, reuse and recycle to create a more sustainable world and future.
The Griffith University Repair Café stall will be open from 10am to 1pm at LEAF. Repair Cafés aim to reduce waste and save money by repairing common household, electronic and clothing items and preventing them from ending up in landfill. If you have an item in need of repair, you can make a booking to have it fixed. You can also get involved by signing up as a volunteer fixer or helper at the Repair Café. Fixer skills include sewing and mending, jewellery repairs, woodwork, mechanical and electronic device repairs. Helpers will assist with setup, registration and admin.
