Uni is an exciting yet challenging journey, especially when you’re juggling coursework, socialising and your wellbeing. One key ingredient to making it all work? Respect. At Griffith, we are committed to an inclusive and respectful campus community.  Our libraries are a central hub of student activity on campus, where everyone should feel welcome and safe.

Here’s how to make the most of your time at the Library and help others do the same.

Respect your study spaces

The Library has a variety of study spaces, whether you’re studying alone or collaborating in groups. Keeping quiet in silent spaces is key to maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. If you’re in a group or need to discuss assignments, use the social spaces or bookable spaces. Remember, everyone studies differently, and being considerate of others helps create a productive environment for all.

Respect your peers

You’re not alone on your study journey. Build a respectful support network by forming study groups and joining existing mentoring programs. Sharing ideas and working together helps to foster belonging, academic success, understanding and respect.

Respect your opportunities

The Library offers so much more than just a place to study. Take full advantage of all that’s available. We have library guides, physical and online resources, workshops, study and assignment skills modules and so much more!

Let’s all help make the Library a place where everyone feels respected, because when we do, we all succeed. If you want to find out more, contact the Library. We’re always here to help.
