If you are looking to improve your academic writing skills by mastering referencing, then enrol in our self-paced learning module ‘APA 7 Referencing’.  

Accessing the APA 7 Referencing Module 

  1. Navigate to Learning@Griffith/Canvas and log in to your account. 
  2. Find and click on the Catalog button located on the left-hand side of your Canvas dashboard, which is second from the bottom. 
  3. Choose the APA 7 Referencing module and then click ‘Enrol’. This course is self-paced, allowing you to learn at your own speed and return if you get interrupted.  

 

What You’ll Learn

The APA 7 Referencing module is designed to equip you with essential skills in academic referencing. You will gain a deeper understanding of: 

  • why referencing is important   
  • the four key elements of effective referencing  
  • formatting in-text citations and Reference List entries 
  • seamlessly integrating references into your academic writing. 
  • utilising the Griffith APA 7 Referencing guide. 

 

Additional Support

Once you have completed the module, you can further enhance your skills by: 

  • accessing the Library Reference guides (other styles include AGPS Harvard, AGLC and Chicago) 

By taking advantage of this module and additional resources, you will be well-equipped to produce high-quality academic work that meets APA 7 standards.
