We have some exciting news for our students at Nathan Library! A brand-new student kitchen is now open and ready for use, making your study sessions more convenient than ever.
In response to the 2023 student survey, we listened carefully to what you wanted—a kitchen facility with hot water access right within the library. We know that long study hours require proper breaks, and having access to essential kitchen amenities can make all the difference.
This newly established student kitchen comes equipped with:
- a bench for easy food preparation
- microwaves to heat up meals and snacks
- a Zip hot/cold water tap for tea, coffee, and instant meals
- convenient bins for waste disposal
- a Flying Turtle beverage machine to keep you hydrated and awake throughout your study sessions—day and night!
Since its opening, the kitchen has received great feedback from students who appreciate the convenience of not having to leave the library to access kitchen facilities. Whether you’re powering through an all-nighter or just taking a quick study break, this space is here to help keep you going.
