As part of National Reconciliation week, every year on the 26th of May we remember and acknowledge the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, which we now know as “The Stolen Generations’.

We therefore ask you and the whole of the Griffith Community to observe and acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generation survivors and reflect on how we as Australians can all play a part in the healing process for the people and the nation.

Learn more about Griffith University’s committment to Reconciliation, and participate in one of the National Reconciliation Week activities planned across Griffith campuses from 27 May – 3 June.
