Running from 1 – 3 November, the 2022 Queensland Research Bazaar (ResBaz) is a three-day event hosted by Griffith University at Nathan Campus, where research staff and students can meet up with other researchers, develop skills and hear from researchers working in industry!

Delve into the next generation of digital research skills and tools at the following workshops:

  • Data tidying and cleaning
  • Intro to R, Python and Git
  • Machine learning and intermediate Python
  • Foundations of reproducible research.

Improve your career prospects with workshops covering:

  • Bringing change with your research
  • Data orientated career pathways
  • How to describe the impact of your research.

Read descriptions of all workshops on the sessions page.

As we will be welcoming researchers from a range of institutions and sectors from across the state to ResBaz 2022, this event is a fantastic opportunity to network with peers from your field and build rewarding professional relationships along with learning new skills.

An attendance fee of $35 covers all workshops, talks, social activities (including prizes for some lucky attendees!) and food. Visit the registration page to purchase tickets.

Would you like to help out at ResBaz? All volunteers are entitled to free attendance, including workshops. If you have concerns about costs, university attendees who need assistance with fares, accommodation, accessibility or childcare costs can also apply for financial assistance via the registration page.

ResBaz QLD is a joint volunteer initiative of Griffith University, University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, University of the Sunshine Coast, Bond University and Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation. The Gold sponsor is AWS and Silver sponsors are AARNET and GALE publishing.
