With the year racing to a close it’s a good time to look back on all the new or updated digital resources we gained access to this year for both researchers and students.  

 

New databases 

Business Source Ultimate: includes over 1,000 peer reviewed articles on business management, industry profiles and case studies. 

Lippincott Discovery: includes medical texts, real life case studies, clinical content and hands on videos.  

New Westlaw Australia: includes access to precedents, news, legislation and case law. 

O’Reilly for Higher Education: includes topics ranging from graphic design to IT networking and more than 45, 000 book titles including audio books  

Springer Ebook Collection: includes access to ebooks from 22 subject areas from biomedicine to statistics,  published between 2019 and  2022.  

New Library guides 

Researching First Peoples topics Library Guide: provides links to relevant Library databases and includes tips for referencing First Peoples materials, evaluating research and locating information.  

New research tools 

SciVal: Analyse publication outputs at individual, group and institution levels.
