Study skills webpages 

Access a range of self-help tools to help you develop your skills in time management, reading effectively, preparing for exams and more. We’ve also got how-to guides to help you learn how to research, write, edit and structure assignments. Are you feeling rattled by referencing? We’ve got referencing guides with plenty of examples too. 

Library workshops 

Throughout the trimester the Library hosts a variety of online workshops to help you build the knowledge and skills you need to succeed at university. And you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home to attend! 

One-on-one consultations 

If you need more help, such as understanding your assessment or undertaking research, you can book a consultation with one of our Library specialists. You can book up to four consultations each trimester via email, phone or online via Teams. 

Reading lists 

Don’t stress about buying textbooks—our Reading lists have got you covered. Many required and recommended readings for your courses are accessible online. Find out more about the accessibility features of our ebook platforms on the Ebooks webpage. 

Library guides 

Get straight to the subject of your choice with our Library guides. These curated collections of databases and specialised resources cover subjects such as Health, Education and more. This is also where you’ll find guides for different content types including Encyclopaedias and dictionaries, and Standards and patents.
