On campus and looking for a safe, friendly space to study?

Here at the Library, we have safe, comfortable and inclusive spaces to help you have the best experience during your studies at Griffith. Whether you’re working quietly by yourself or with a group, or just meeting up with friends after classes, the Library has a space for you. Check out the campus Library opening hours before you visit—you can even book group study spaces for some extra privacy during group work. Here’s what other students are saying about Library spaces.

‘Private, comfortable, silent and has 2 sockets for me to charge my laptop and iPad at the same time.’

– Griffith Student, 2021

A group of three people are sitting together around a table and talking. There are open laptops, books, notepads and pens on the table in front of them.

‘Physical library is a safe space.’

– Kat, Griffith student, 2021

Our Library staff are always here to support you. Whether it’s help with searching for resources, writing assignments, referencing properly, troubleshooting computer and equipment issues or just that friendly face who’ll give you a wave. We’re here to help you.

‘I am so grateful that I met you and discovered the great staff you have that were more than willing to help me. From that moment, I found myself coming to the library and studying more which is a lot better than sitting on my couch and studying with Netflix on.’

– Sophie, Griffith Student, 2021

‘…don’t be embarrassed to just ask the library people anything, they’re very helpful and they don’t bite.’

– Griffith student, 2021

It’s true, we don’t bite! Just ask at your Library Help Desk if you want to learn about accessing resources, your Reading lists, developing study skills, laptop loans, Wi-Fi and more—we’re happy to help!
