Over the next couple of weeks, you will see some changes in the Library.

Next week (20-24 June), the existing self-checkout units in our libraries will be replaced across all campuses. The rollout of the new units will start at Nathan on Monday and finish at South Bank on Friday.

The following week, from 30 June, you will notice changes to the Library catalogue interface. The changes are part of the Library’s program of service enhancements.  These improvements will make your Library experience easier, and include:

  • Improved MyAccount – your loans and interlibrary loans in one place as well as new search activity, saved searches, and saved items in lists features
  • Improved viewing on mobile devices
  • Redesigned search box with dedicated access to databases and reading lists

To make sure you’re getting the best experience, the Library will be providing handy support resources on the Library website and in Ask Us to help you.

During the installation of the new self-checkout units (20-30 June) you can borrow from the physical collection at each campus’ Library Desk.

If you have any questions or need further help, please contact the Library.
