Research metrics are a key means to showcase your research when applying for a grant, updating your CV or applying for a promotion.

With multiple data sources available, it can be an exercise in frustration trying to locate the many different metrics (such as citation counts, H-index, Field Weighted Citation Index (FWCI), percentiles, journal quartiles and alternative metrics).

The Library can help.

The Library’s new Research Metrics web page will help you choose which data source is best, depending on the information you’re looking for.

Find Metrics tool.

Whether you are looking for article metrics, journal metrics or metrics for grants or promotion applications, the Library has created a ‘Find Metrics’ tool to help you locate and access the most relevant data source for your needs.
