Trimester 2 is coming to an end and we want to share our tips on how to avoid burnout!

Firstly, it’s important to find the right balance between leisure and study. Be sure to:

  • Organise and manage your time
  • Schedule regular breaks

Griffith has a video on the Pomodoro technique and how it can help you organise your time. We also recommend this video on how to beat exam stress.

At the Library, we understand that life is not all about study. It’s important to take a step back and take some time for yourself. Here are some suggestions to help you unwind:

  • Have a sleep in
  • Catch up with a friend
  • Go for a walk
  • Have a picnic in the park
  • Read a book (for leisure, not study!)
  • Host a movie marathon
  • Relax on the couch

As exam period draws closer, the Library will be open and here to help. Check out the Exam Prep self-help guide and our Library opening hours on the Library website.
