The 10th anniversary of Wear it Purple Day is coming up this Friday 28 August 2020 – so put on your purple clothes and show your support for LGBTQIA+ youth!
Wear it Purple Day is about showing young LGBTQIA+ people that they have the right to be proud of who they are by creating safe spaces in schools, universities, workplaces and public spaces where they are seen and supported.
This year’s theme is ‘We Are the Change’ and encourages everybody to take steps to implement effective changes in society so all LGBTQIA+ people can feel safe and supported every day.
