Did you know Griffith has the largest Indigenous-student population of any Queensland university? We also have the second largest number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander academic staff in Australia with 17 academics involved in teaching Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies and knowledge across a range of disciplines.
Griffith University works with Indigenous Elders to develop Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement strategies and partnerships for community empowerment and a curriculum informed by respect of our First Peoples.
