Recently Griffith hosted a group of TEL edvisors from around South-East Queensland Universities to network and discuss Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) in their respective Universities.

Jenny James of Griffith University kicking off the event.

Organised by Jenny James, Mary-Ann Shuker, Chris Campbell and with special thanks to ASCILITE for their sponsorship, the theme for the event was “Making the Right Choice” generating much discussion around how to ensure the right tool/technology is chosen to support teaching and learning within institutional constraints.

Brainstorming and work shopping attendees at the event.

Rich discussions were held on tools/technology available for teaching and learning, design models, approvals processes, guidance and support. With a packed room, it was great to see so many in attendance with feedback from attendees being that it was a great morning and excellent for networking and sharing cross-institutional ideas.

If you’re not currently part of the TEL edvisor network and are interested in communicating and networking with other people working in support of teaching and learning (TEL), please consider joining the TEL edvisor network which is supported by ASCILITE.
