Celebrating Teaching 2018 at Griffith had a fantastic start with three events kicking off on Monday, the Griffith Learning and Teaching Academy Communities of Practice Symposium and a series of HEA (Higher Education Academy) events, with the spotlight on presentations to this years’ HEA Fellows. Congratulations to all.
Below are some highlights, but be sure to stay tuned as we’ll be providing a lot more highlights over the next week. We look forward to seeing you all at the rest of Celebrating Teaching at Griffith University.
What a great start to Celebrating Teaching 2018!
The Griffith Learning and Teaching Academy (GLTA) Communities of Practice Symposium kicked off first thing Monday. The event was opened by Professor Gemma Carey, Chair of the Griffith Learning and Teaching Academy, followed up by the event keynote “Communities of Practice – Imagining, Implementing and Valuing Social Learning” from Associate Professor Jacquie McDonald, of University of Southern Queensland.
Here are some of the highlights and pics from our Twitter feed and event (#GriffithCT2018).
This session was attended by over 120 staff celebrating those conferred Fellowship of the HEA (Higher Education Academy) through the Fellowships@Griffith Scheme in 2018.
Here is a quick video reflection and some snaps from the day featuring some of our new HEA Fellows.
Keep an eye out for more LF Press Celebrating Teaching posts, vox pops and reflections over the next fortnight.
