Adult Vocational Education and Technology Journal coverThe International Journal of Adult Vocational Education and Technology published by IGI Global is seeking contributions across the next 6-8 weeks around the theme of ICT in University Teaching.

The Journal, although not an ’A Class’,  is very respectable with some well known Editors in Adult Education and Critical Theory involved over the years.  The Journal is catalogued in ACM, ProQuest, Web of Science and other Educationally-focussed Databases.

Perspectives are invited from across the wider field of education, including insights on teaching, educational design, professional learning and support for Academic Staff.

What’s the timeline?

The journal doesn’t require submission of abstracts before acceptance and is double blind peer reviewed.  Turn around time on the reviews is relatively quick (in my experience around 2 weeks). Timeline is full papers in by 31 August , reviews done by second/third week of September.

Paper length is around around 5000 words (including the bibliography, APA style as referencing).

The  accepted papers will be published in the first issue of 2019.
