As mentioned during the late 2018 series of Digital First campus briefing sessions offered by the DVC (Academic) before the break, a set of course design standards has been developed with broad input from across the University.
The standards underpin an ongoing transformation of learning and teaching practice at Griffith and will inform the minimum requirements for courses to be transferred to the new Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard Ultra.
Your input is important!
We are now circulating the Foundational Course Design Standards for further consultation and request your feedback. Early Adopter Program (EAP) participants will simultaneously road test the standards, so we will gather concrete feedback on how they work in practice. The standards will be a living document and will need to change over time in response to new technology, priorities and opportunities.
I encourage you to review the standards and share your thoughts using the online feedback form on the Digital First website, where you will also find a copy of the course design standards document.
We look forward to receiving your feedback by Monday 4 February 2019.
Following this consultation period, we will collate feedback and amend the course design standards ready to share with you.
