Our partners at the Library has developed a fabulous resource in PebblePad to help students develop the skills they will require while they studying at Griffith, and prepare them for entering the workforce in the future.

The Academic Skills Workbook is designed to help students develop and apply academic, information and digital literacy skills, and start to develop their professional networks and identities.  As students work through the workbook, they also have the opportunity to incorporate the skills they have developed into an ePortfolio. This means students can learn to document their credentials and skills in PebblePad and create portfolios targeted to particular audiences.

The Academic Skills Workbook is broken into five sub-Workbooks:

  • Academic Literacies
  • Information Literacies
  • Digital Literacies
  • ePortfolios
  • Professional Networks.

This resource is of value to both commencing and continuing students throughout their studies. Students new to Griffith will probably want to start at the beginning and work through the contents, while continuing students may like to jump to specific areas to revise and further develop their skills.

The Academic Skills Workbook is accessible to all students via the Library’s Study pages where they can find instructions and introductory videos to help get started. Online guides are available for students if they need help using PebblePad.
