Dr SarahStart up fund Gardiner (GU), Dr Sheranne Fairley (UQ) and Chris Hogan from Gold Coast technology company, Me Media, received a grant from the Queensland Government’s Advance Queensland Young Starters Fund for a project that will create online webinars and a networking forum to inspire young startups through sharing stories of other young entrepreneurs who have achieved success. The project will feature five young entrepreneurs that have achieved success in starting up a new business within the tourism, sport, and event industries.

This partnership seeks to build upon the existing website, Mentor Revolution. The site provides a platform for entrepreneurs to access information about launching their new business project or taking their existing business to the next level. The webinars will also be made available through the GU and UQ websites and used as a teaching resource in undergraduate business courses.

Proudly supported by the Queensland Government’s Advance Queensland initiative
