In Trimester 3, International Orientation is being held virtually through Microsoft Teams with the help of Griffith’s International Student Advisors, Griffith Mates, and Student Experience team. This will comprise a live orientation session including a ‘get to know you’ session with staff members, and a non-live component within the team, where students can engage with their peers and find out crucial information for starting study at Griffith.
Our Trimester 3 Orientation is based on our highly successful model from Trimester 2, 2020, which saw more students engaged in the session than ever before. For Trimester 3, we will also accommodate students in different time zones by providing a download of the live event, as well as allowing them the time to go through the information at their own pace. There will also be various activities on campus run by Griffith Mates such as campus tours, and a market stall throughout the week for students to ask questions.
