Before Trimester 1 2023 gets underway, English Language Institute (GELI) celebrated the success of almost 150 students who completed the highest level of the Direct Entry Program (DEP) at the DEP 7.5 Graduation in February.
Griffith International acknowledges excellent performance in DEP by awarding a $1000 Direct Entry Program (DEP) Scholarship to the highest performing student at both Gold Coast and Nathan progressing to a Griffith undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.
Congratulations to the following DEP Scholarship winners:
- DANG Phuong Vy (Ashley)
- NGUYEN Thi Ngoc Nhu (Nora)
Ashley studied for 15 weeks on a pathway to the Bachelor of Business at Griffith University. She is to be congratulated for being a very hard-working, diligent student who always put one hundred percent effort into all aspects of her work in DEP 7. Ashley participated fully in every class and often helped her classmates with tasks, making her an excellent leader.
Nora studied for 10 weeks on a pathway to the Bachelor of Information Technology at Griffith University. The level of her work was of a high academic standard throughout her studies in DEP 7. She was very participative in group activities and completed all tasks assigned to her in a timely manner.
Congratulations to Haruka Sato from Japan for achieving the highest overall grade in her DEP cohort at the Gold Coast.
Haruka studied at GELI for 15 weeks to prepare for her Study Abroad program at Griffith University. She demonstrated dedication and determination whilst completing DEP 7. Her patience and supportive nature helped to motivate her classmates and made her an integral part of classroom discussion and activities. Haruka’s achievement is well-deserved and indicative of her future success.
