After almost three years of online and hybrid classes, the start of 2023 has seen all GELI students arriving for classes on campus.GELI is happy to deliver online courses to cohorts of students offshore in closed groups, and these can be for any period of time, but all integrated English classes will be face-to-face.

In December 2022, Griffith English Language Institute (GELI) celebrated the success of almost 70 students who successfully completed the highest level of the Direct Entry Program (DEP) at GELI to achieve entry into their Griffith University or Griffith College program for Trimester 1 2023. A further cohort will complete DEP in February 2023.

Griffith International acknowledges excellent performance in DEP by awarding a $1000 Direct Entry Program (DEP) Scholarship to the highest performing DEP student in each cohort who is progressing to a Griffith undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.

Congratulations to the following DEP Scholarship winners:

  • PAE Geunyoung (Chloe), Korea, Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Juan MARTINEZ MONSALVE, Colombia, Master of Information Technology

Juan studied at the GELI Nathan campus for 25 weeks and was an asset to his classes. He was able to utilise what he learned in lessons to develop his language and academic skills. At the same time, he supported his classmates and made a significant contribution to a collaborative learning environment. Congratulations to Juan on achieving the highest overall grade for his DEP cohort at Nathan.
