The final Griffith Mates event of the year is the annual Christmas Lunch on 15 December – offered to all students who would like to experience a classic Australian Christmas Day experience, including a delicious lunch and fun games.

The core function of the Griffith Mates is to make arrivals and transitions easier for students, by offering a wide range of opportunities to Griffith International students, ensuring they integrate successfully into the community and have the opportunity to make friends and connections, and feel comfortable and confident at Griffith.

Over Trimester 1, 2023 the Griffith Mates will be offering a varied program of events and they strongly encourage all new commencing and current international students to get involved.
