Tare is from Zimbabwe, studying a Bachelor of Commerce at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus.
Tare’s dream is to take what she has learnt during her studies back into her community in Zimbabwe, and help educate others to make a difference in their lives. Watch her video below to find out more.
Tare’s favourite thing about Griffith are the lecturers, who she says are very helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to help students. She loves how her lecturers refer to their industry experience, which she finds she can really relate to.
Tare has made some of her closest friends through the Griffith Mates program.
“Griffith Mates helps you network and meet other international students as well as domestic. I’ve made some of my closest friends through the Mates program, which is good for me because I’m not a very outgoing person, but they’ve helped me to get out of my comfort zone”, she says.
