Students from ten countries studying in Australia and offshore recently successfully completed the Direct Entry Program (DEP) at Griffith English Language Institute (GELI), to achieve entry into their Griffith University or Griffith College programs for Trimester 3, 2021.
Congratulations to the student who achieved the highest overall grade – Xu Feng from China.
Xu Feng studied offshore with GELI for 20 weeks on a pathway to the Masters Qualifying Program. He was a hardworking and diligent student who completed all tasks at an exceptionally high level. He worked collaboratively with his classmates, and can be proud of his achievement as Dux of DEP.
Griffith International also acknowledges excellent performance in DEP by awarding a $1000 Direct Entry Program (DEP) Scholarship to the highest-achieving student on a direct pathway to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.
Congratulations to Hosein Harimi from Iran, who joined his GELI classes for 10 weeks from his home in Iran.
Hosein was an ideal student. He always worked to his full potential and inspired his classmates to do the same. He was committed and showed great determination in his endeavour to achieve both his personal and academic goals, even when the DEP 7 workload challenged his faith in his own ability. Hosein deserves every success as he embarks on his Master of Engineering Project Management studies.
