Our students get off to a great start at Griffith because we ensure they have the right information at their fingertips, and O-Week plays a huge part.
Trimester 1 Orientation Week will take place from 1-5 March 2021 and see new students join in briefing sessions, skills workshops, social events and tours, meet staff and make friends, all while virtually exploring the university. New students learn what to expect as a Griffith student.
Through Microsoft Teams, students connect online with fellow commencing international students and support staff. The Teams community is set up by international support staff to offer all the information our students need to have a successful start to their studies. As well as serving as an online guide to Griffith, Teams offers a fantastic forum for making friends.
We are excited about the opportunities an online Teams community presents for new students to engage, and for us to share the wealth of knowledge that exists within the International Student Advisory team.
In addition, the Griffith Mates will continue to provide opportunities for social engagement, English language practice and networking activities that enhance overall student experience.
