Queensland Micro- and Nanotechnology Centre Project Leader, Associate Professor Dzung Dao, has been awarded an Aus4Innovation grant in the amount of $400,000. The project is titled “Low-power and Robust Sensor Network for Flood Monitoring and Management”, in partnership with CSIRO and Research Laboratories of Saigon High Tech Park (SHTP Labs) in collaboration with research centres in Vietnam and the Centre for Future Materials, University of Southern Queensland (USQ-CFM). The project will develop an innovative solution based on Griffith’s unique silicon carbide (SiC) microsensor technology to build a sensor network with unprecedentedly high-sensitivity, robustness, and low-power consumption.
